Humanizing the Badge through Education
Heather is a Peace Officer Standards & Training (POST) and STC certified instructor. Using humor and genuine engagement, Heather strives to create a safe space where personnel feel empowered to acknowledge that it’s okay not to be okay—and that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Her goal is to normalize human responses to stress and trauma, reduce the stigma around discussing difficult moments, encourage healthy coping strategies that steer people away from addictive behaviors, and ultimately foster healthier organizations and families.
