Focus

As an associate therapist, I am focused on working closely with individuals, teens, couples and families to provide them with quality and compassionate services that help guide them to being the best version of themselves so they can ultimately be the best version for those in their lives.

Techniques

Because every client is different, I believe in being well rounded with treatment techniques including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness based therapy and a realistic approach that uniquely tailors the experience to each individual client.

Bio

From a young age I have always had a strong desire to help others. My public safety career began at age 14 when I became a cadet for my local fire department and upon turning 18 transitioned to a part-time paid firefighter position. I would later complete a career change and transition into law enforcement where I have spent over 18 years in a variety of specialized teams, assignments and leadership positions.

Another passion from early adulthood was providing a safe space for those who needed to talk about life's challenges. I have been doing informal therapy for much of my life and made the decision several years ago to return to school and obtain all the required skills, training and experience to become a licensed therapist to formally and professionally help those looking to work through life’s challenges.

Lastly, through a long career not only have I witnessed the challenges first responders face from job related stress and trauma, but I have experienced my own challenges, which have driven me to give back to those who serve and protect our communities.
